“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” -Psalms Chapter 23
I think the verses above speak for themselves. The Lord is good to His flock. All that He asks is that we rise in the morning and lay ourselves down at His feet daily. He is faithful to those who are faithful to His calling.
I have found myself becoming more and more busy. Unfortunately, my blog is suffering. Just like everything else in my schedule, these devotions need to have a time slot.
Despite the busyness, I have found great joy in what I do. We’re in the middle of a ratings period and I feel as though I could get a great book back. In the fall, I was placed on the midday time slot. Within one ratings period, I not only boosted my show to the No. 2 show in the market for my time slot, I also secured the position of No. 1 show on our station.
A huge blessing.
I know this is because of the One who has called me.
I look at my boyfriend in OTS. He is doing what the Lord has called him to do. Not only is he being blessed in his efforts, the Lord has given him a tremendous joy in doing it. My boyfriend is an amazing man and it’s a beautiful thing to see his dreams be the dreams that the Lord has set apart for him. And he’s fulfilling them.
What he will accomplish is unlimited and I am truly blessed to be a part of it. It gives me confidence and reassurance in my life.
