OTS by Jess: Day Four

“But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; the Lord will hear when I call to him.” -Psalms 4:3

What I love about this verse is that in some Hebrew manuscripts it says “…the Lord has made wonderful…” Think about that for a second. The Lord of all things has not only set me apart, He has made me wonderful.

Wow.

Today was a wonderful day. I got to spend time with my boyfriend’s mother. What a joy she is. Really, she is incredible. Not only does she bring me a connection to my boyfriend, but also that motherly feel. She encourages me and wants to see me succeed. I’m extremely blessed to have her in my life.

I gotta say, I got a spring in my step.

It could be because of the beautiful weather. Or maybe it’s because I had an extremely narcissistic moment today. I spent some time online going through my old softball stats from high school. I know. But I gotta tell you, it was a confidence boost.

I just felt really good today. My next goal is to get my hair done. This frizzy mess just ain’t working anymore. Plus, I think it’s time to get back to the platinum blonde.

Hello, Cali girl over here.

And you know what they say about California girls. Not only does everyone want to be one… They have been made wonderful.
