Fried Chicken and Christopher Lloyd

“Where we’re going we don’t need roads.”

Whether you’re watching the classic movie with Christopher Lloyd or singing the song by “Far East Movement,” this is what I want my future to be like.

I don’t want to be confined. I want to achieve every dream that this little mind of mine has ever dreamed. And if given the chance to fly, I hope I never find use for my legs again.

Why would anyone ask for anything otherwise?

I can’t think of a person who, if given the choice, would say, “I want misery and suffering for life.” I mean, really, if one could eat chocolate or greasy fast food for the rest of their lives and never gain a single pound, nor have the slightest hint of health problems, do you think they would pass that up?

You can bet your life I would be eating fried chicken smothered in chocolate syrup.

A little repulsive, but you get the point.

In addition, I knew at a very young age that I wanted to be rich and famous when I grew up. Not for selfish reasons. Obviously I want to be able to provide for my family and be financially secure. However, I want to be able to spoil the people around me. Whether it be friends or strangers, I want to give people the things that they have always wanted, but will never be able to obtain.

I’m a sucker for those shows about professional athletes or celebrities making a child’s dreams come true by taking them to practice or allowing them to sit in as director the for day on the set of their movie.

This is what I want to do. This is what I believe I was called to do.

My job as a radio personality is so much bigger than me. I’ll never forget having a young girl throw her arms around me and tell me that she loved me. I had no idea who this girl was, but she knew me and adored me. In that instance, I would have done anything for that sweet little angel.

So if you ask me what I hope my future would be like, I hope it is full of opportunities to bless others. The best part is that I’m in career in which I can do that in big ways. In other words, if I fly, then I can make others fly. Lucky for me, I’m in love with a man who desires to do the same… And not just because he’s a pilot.

That means fried chicken and chocolate for everyone! We’ll bring Christopher Lloyd too…
